Yo, I’m Nate. I’m from Cincinnati and I run RatFall. The whole brand is basically built around glitchy, distorted, pixel-art chaos. I’ve always loved that broken-digital look, so we leaned hard into it, that’s why the site and most of the clothes look like they crawled out of a corrupted file.
Outside of RatFall (and Zombie Honey), I’m pretty one-dimensional. I’ve got three hobbies: paintball, anime, and music. We also run a paintball apparel company called Hired Guns, which is where a lot of the same design energy shows up in a different form. Anime-wise, my all-time favorite is Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. It’s slow, dramatic, and absolutely a 10/10 if you’re patient. Music-wise, I listen to basically everything except mainstream country, although I’ll admit the meme-country pipeline is starting to get me. Circa Survive has always been my favorite band, but my playlist jumps from MF DOOM to Tears for Fears to Russian Village Boys (I’m somehow in their top 0.05% of listeners according to my Shopify wrapped).
And yeah, RatFall doesn’t have some deep meaning. I just smashed two words together that sounded cool and ran with it.
Hi, My name is Leena and I have been wearing Japanese fashion for about 15 years so it has been a staple in my life for a bit.
I prefer metal/ death-core type of lettering on my clothing designs mixed with cute anime girls or teddy bears.
Killfit name actually came to me while i was driving to an anime con when I saw a decal on a truck that i thought read killfit but when I got closer it was something else and i ended up just taking the name.
Most of the clothing and fashion I design are inspired by the current japanese trends like Subcul fashion or Jirai Kei"
